Certificate IV in Electrical Equipments & Systems (Naval Power System Operation)

This qualification is designed for Australian Navy servicemen who want to work as operators of ship engine rooms operation systems by controlling the various high voltage control switching systems.

The students will learn how to monitor, maintain and repair shipboard electrical, electronic and control equipment and auxiliary systems along, with maritime principles, practices and safety.

Pre-requisite

Appropriate basic Safety training (Sea Survival & firefighting)and basic electricity, electronics and workshop training.

Total hours= 288 hrs ( 2 evenings per weeks -2 x 4 hrs per weeks for 36 weeks)
